Who we are
GAGA (“we”, “us”) provides a mobile-first web app for GAA fixtures, results, and live scores. This policy explains how we handle personal data when you use gaga.ie.
Data we collect
- Account data — if you sign in, we store your email address and display name via Supabase Auth.
- Favourites — teams you follow are stored in our database when signed in, or in your browser's local storage when signed out.
- Score Tracker — operator sessions, fixture bindings, and match events are stored to power live scores. Player names you enter on team sheets are kept locally on your device.
- Technical data — standard server logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps) may be processed by our hosting provider for security and reliability.
How we use data
We use your data to:
- Provide fixtures, results, and live score updates
- Personalise My Gaga with your followed teams
- Authenticate Score Tracker operators
- Maintain and secure the service
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use third-party advertising trackers in v1.
Legal basis
Where applicable under GDPR, we rely on contract performance (providing the service you request), legitimate interests (security, product improvement), and consent (where required for non-essential cookies or storage).
Retention
Account and favourites data is kept while your account is active. You may delete favourites at any time. Match events are retained as part of the public fixture record. Server logs are rotated on a short schedule by our host.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact us at privacy@gaga.ie to exercise these rights.
Processors
We use Supabase (database, auth, realtime) and Vercel (hosting) as data processors. Both operate under standard contractual safeguards.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
